The Key Differences Between Ceramic Coating and Icon Rocklear

1. Ceramic Coating “Si02”

Hydrophobics: Water “beads” on the surface of the paint

Finish: Glossy ceramic finish

Applications: Requires reapplications down the road

Maintenance Required: Exclusive touchless and hand washing/drying

Protection: UV rays, water spots, bird waste, tree sap. Lighter environmental elements. Thickness: 1-3 Microns (human hair is 50-70 microns)

Warranty: Warranty varies depending on the coating chosen and often only covers failure of the coating, and is very limited on years of coverage.

2. Icon Rocklear “Transparent Composite Coating”

Hydrophilic: Water sheds but still beads, but easy top coat sprays can be added occasionally for that hydrophobic look or a ceramic top coat can be added.

Finish: 30% Glossier than leading ceramic coatings and invisible to the eye

Applications: 15+ Year Rating One application: No special maintenance required Note a 2nd layer can be applied to high impact areas like the front clip after 30 days to archive even more Rock protection (IR-requires prior to 18 months an inspection or an exterior detail)

Protection: Bug etching, acid rain, Bird droppings, UV rays, oxidation, and dull paint. Also rock chip & scratch resistant, road debris, Road Salt, protection up to 40% impact resistant. 1-2 mils (25-50 microns) This is full paint protection where Paint protection film is often just applied to the front clip do the cost. After a 30 day cure time regular car washing is allowed.

Thickness: 35X Thicker than leading ceramic coatings. One layer of Rocklear = 35 layers of ceramic. This product can even be wet sanded and polished multiple time as it is up to 2 mils thick.

Does not require intensive paint correction prior to the install as is has amazing corrective ability. So we don’t have to diminish your factory clear coat. You will be amazed at its ability to bring back that new paint look even on the worst car wash scratch car while leaving the best protection on the market.

Warranty: 10 year warranty for zero fee. Covers accidental damage to the coating like a scuff or spot scratch!, bug guts, road grime, paint etching,, fading, road tar.

History:

The development team, with a history in coating science since 2012, has consistently provided coatings superior to those of their competitors. However, the emergence of ceramic coatings and robust sealants highlighted a need for significant improvement to maintain a competitive edge.

They resolved to embark on a venture of total commitment, exploring entirely new avenues and researching optimal materials to develop an innovative coating system.

In 2016, Icon Rocklear introduced its initial prototype. Immediate field testing was initiated on over 100 vehicles in one of the most climatically diverse regions on the planet, where temperatures fluctuate between -58°C(-72°F) and 45°C(113°F). The area’s road conditions are exceptionally challenging, featuring gravel, ice, sleet, heavy rain, and intense UV, among others.

Icon Rocklear demonstrated formidable protection in these extreme conditions without any failures. Nonetheless, it was crucial to secure the future of this extraordinary coating system to ensure continued reliability.

Subsequent accelerated lab data testing of Icon Rocklear yielded impressive results, providing undeniable evidence of its ability to offer comprehensive protection against various hazards for an extended period. This confirmed the system’s capability to provide peace of mind through its protective qualities.

New and Used car pricing ($2500 standard size car) ($3500 Large 3rd row seating size and full size trucks)

Includes: Wash exterior and wheels, Decontamination Clay process, Vacuum interior and wash rubber mats, clean windows and jambs. Exterior then prepped with a special compound we will pay special attention to deeper scratches. Then we tape off all non painted surfaces and apply ICON.

We will apply a pro grade wheel ceramic coating to the faces and also to trim
(duration 2/3 days)
